"Low Cost" - Blu Crush Records

A peine un an après le "Lost Tracks" (cf Twice 53), EPK revient direct avec 10 nouveaux titres fort heureusement pas à bas prix comme pourrait nous le faire croire le titre... Une certaine évolution se fait sentir avec une approche plus punk français, celui qu'on a connu avec Bérurier Noir, OTH ou la Souris Déglinguée. En témoignent "Lost In A Lost World", "Les Choses Ne S'arrangent Pas" aux guitares nerveuses ou l'enragé "Low Cost". Après, la folie reprend ses droits avec "Everybody Loves You In Hell" ou "La Rivière" dans un parfum laissé par d'anciennes Tétines Noires. Et l'étonnement est général à l'écoute de "Ou Que Tu Sois", basée sur une ligne musicale digne du " Gimme Shelter" des Stones (ou de la reprise par les Sisters) portant voix masculines et féminines (une certaine chaleur apportée en guest par Mélanie, et Sandra sur la version single) et dont on sent que l'enregistrement ne s'est pas fait au même endroit ou en tout cas pas dans les mêmes conditions que le reste de l'album. Beau et étonnant, efficace et direct, peut-être moins cold qu'auparavant et surtout novateur ! A vous d'être curieux et de découvrir l'univers du duo de EPK.
